We are a non-auditioning choir based in Southwell. We have been established for almost 60 years. Rehearsals take place each Monday evening in term time at 7:30pm in the Minster. New members are always welcome.
We are currently working on our "Carols for Everyone" repertoire and will commence work on Carmina Burana on Monday 13th January 2025.*
We shall be singing Carmina Burana in Southwell Minster on Saturday 10th May 2025.
Please note that the Nicholas Thorpe Composition Award has now closed for 2024.
The 2024 Award was given to Mr Sam Meredith for his composition of Polaris (see Gallery page)
A family apple tree has been planted in the Burgage with a plaque to celebrate 60 years of Southwell Choral Society (see gallery page)
